In this section of photos you have to think about whats native to the area and what isn't because we visit man-made places as well as our preferred natural locations of refuges, sanctuaries, swamps, reservations, swamps and back roads we explore. As a result you'll see non-native animals such as zebras and giraffe's versus the spectacular native Florida Panther. I avoid photographing caged animals but not all animals in captivity, particularly ones that are captive while being rehabilitated. If you look at a photo and assume that since my focus is on southwest Florida, that the subject is native, you're more apt to be wrong in this section more than any other one. To avoid confusion or misinterpretation, I'm adding [in captivity] when applicable.
